Sizing & maintenance guide

Choosing the right rubber track

A rubber track dimension is expressed as Width × Pitch × Number of links (e.g. 230x72x43). This information is moulded onto the inner side of the track, or shown in your machine's technical manual.

See the full guide: measuring method, dimension letters (N/W/J) and linkage types →

Essential maintenance tips

  • Tension: check the rubber track's play regularly — too loose and it may derail; too tight and it will prematurely wear the rollers.
  • Cleaning: remove mud after each use with a low-pressure water jet, and let it dry before storage.
  • To avoid: turning on the spot on asphalt/concrete, and storing in direct sunlight or near a heat source.
